Payment Options

At Back to Roots we believe in the value of wellness care for you and your family and have maintained a pricing structure that allows care for all budgets.  We also accept auto accident and workers compensation cases. For patients who have little or no chiropractic insurance coverage, flexible payment programs can be arranged. To learn more about our payment options for chiropractic and wellness care, you can call our office directly.

Insurance

We accept, Anthem, Cigna, and Medicare.  Dr. Faria is a non-participating Medicare provider. This means that the Medicare patient pays in full for their office visit evaluation and management (E&M), and the spinal adjustment portion of the visit. If Medicare deems that the visit is "medically justified", reimbursement will be sent directly to the patient for the ADJUSTMENT PORTION OF THE VISIT ONLY (and in some cases, secondary insurance reimburses a portion of the rest of the cost) after your deductible is met. Medicare patients are responsible for the necessary casework evaluation and management (E&M) associated with their care and are not typically reimbursed for this portion of the provided service. This is the reason so many Medicare patients sign up for our legal discount medical organization: Chirop Health USA(CHUSA). See below for details and our Good Faith Estimate.  Since there are so many plans and coverage varies widely, please call your insurance provider to find out if your plan covers care in our office.

No Insurance

For patients who have little or no chiropractic insurance coverage, flexible payment programs can be arranged. If you have no insurance or do not have chiropractic benefits there is still a way for you to receive the care you need. Many patients pay directly for care, as they discover chiropractic to be extremely cost-effective and affordable.

As of January 1, 2022, all clients who are underinsured or opting to self-pay for services, and will be starting a new course of care with us, have the right to a Good Faith Estimate. This is in keeping with the No Surprises Act and will provide a general overview of the general costs you are likely to incur throughout your course of care.

Our Good Faith Estimate: For those who are uninsured, or simply want to self-pay, Back to Roots participates with Chiro Health USA (CHUSA), a legal discount medical organization. In order for you to benefit from these discounts, you will be expected to pay CHUSA a separate fee of $49.00, good for one year from the day of your first visit.

The total cost of your care will include the initial visit, plus any follow-up visits, and will be paid as you go. Your first session will be an evaluation, and last about an hour, which costs $150, and all follow-up visits are $65 each, at about 15 minutes each. Re-evaluations are up to 30 minutes and are $65 as well. The number of visits will vary based on your particular symptoms and goals, which we will discuss during your evaluation.

Your expected total amount due at your initial visit will be ($49 + $150) = $199.00

All other chiropractic visits will be $65.00 each visit.

Your initial chiropractic visit will include an initial evaluation, and at the discretion of the provider, may include initial treatment the same day. Your initial treatment may be a combination of techniques which may include: chiropractic manipulation therapy, manual therapy, stretches, or heat and ice. If you have any questions about your upcoming appointment, please don’t hesitate to reach out before your visit.

Family Plans

Our focus at Back to Roots is to actively help you and your family in taking responsibility for your health, wellness, and disease management. We assist and guide you to take the time to care for the important people in your world: you and your family.  In an effort to make living the wellness lifestyle as easy and affordable as possible, we can create a customized family plan that is specific to you and your family using ChiroHealth USA.

Health on a Budget

At Back to Roots we're convinced that a small amount of your time and money to care for your most important asset--your health--will be far less time consuming and expensive than trying to recover it. If you feel you do not have enough time or money to take care of yourself, please contact us--we can help!  The last thing we want is for you to come to our wellness center in crisis. So please, we would like to encourage you to take your health very seriously.  As the old saying goes, if you don't have your health, you don't have anything.  Unfortunately, too many people don't discover how true that statement is until it is too late.
