Andrea Sutcliffe, CRFascial Structural Integration Specialist / Certified Rolfer
I got involved with Fascial Integration over ten years ago, as I realized I needed something to manage my own daily pain and tightness. I have a somewhat rare medical condition called Eagles Syndrome.
A small bone, called the Styloid bone, just under my right jawbone is out of place. This causes all the nerves, muscles, blood vessels and fascia on the right side of my head, neck and elsewhere to be stretched just a little too tight.
So, in 2013, I graduated from the Dr. Ida Rolf Institute. My formal education provided a good basis to start. But it is the misplaced bone in my neck that gives me new challenges - and new opportunities to learn - every day. What I learn about bringing real change to my own pain and tightness has become a great gift to offer others.
